Firstly let me introduce myself; my name is Andrew Cartwright and I am 40 years old, also known as satdownready in the esports world, I regard myself as a family man and live in the North East of England where I was born and grew up. I work full time and have done so since leaving College and continued to study part time obtaining a Law degree. I have been interested and involved in eSports for a significant period of time – at least 25 years. My interest developed alongside many other of my age group through playing games such as Blackhawk down on the PC and later progressing to the battlefield and Call of Duty series playing Call of Duty 2 and 4. I was always sure of the potential of eSports and wanted a new challenge so in early 2015 Sitnplay.co.uk begun development. This continues to be done in my own spare time whilst working fulltime, I have loved the challenge of starting something new. Since its inception Sitnplay has developed quickly; it was formed to play at a competitive level and we have attended tournaments both online and offline. Sitnplay is financially secure and has included a strong team identity via social media and physically through team jerseys being supplied for the CSGO team which recently attended the i58 insomnia Multiplay tournament. As we move forward as an organisation we plan to attend bigger events and have ambition to compete across the whole world. In order to maintain a strong team ethic, we have found it important to involve team members wherever possible through sharing ideas and asking for feedback on ideas. One crucial element we all have at Sitnplay is ambition and this coupled with drive, commitment, good planning and experience we will hope to continue our journey on the positive note it has begun.
